The new machine is working fine… Intel i7-950, 6Gig ram, SATA III for the OS, and three RAID 5 striped volumes for one TB of data storage. This should suffice for a while.
Everything is going well so far, I have been very busy with construction around the lake lately and have not placed much energy into the new site. I am trying to get the new computer up, but I keep changing the parameters and needing more parts. Anyway, I need to approve any posts, so I just approved yours. Thanks for stopping by.

Okay, I just finished my new computer. It has an Intel i7 – 950 microprocessor and think I will configure a RAID 5 drive array, at least that’s my plan. We’ll see how it goes. I am going to try out Windows 7, this should be interesting.
